Since 1948 Southeastern Tree & Landscaping has been a family-owned and operated business spanning three generations. The business was started as a tree service company by LW Howle to serve the residents of Fort Mill. He continued working until his passing, when his son, Bill Howle, assumed operation. Bill remains active in the business today and is joined by his two sons, Todd and Will. The three owners bring a combined experience of over 100 years to the company and an expert understanding of the plant life and environmental needs of the southern region.
Today, our family at Southeastern Tree & Landscaping has grown to serve communities in North and South Carolina. Our offerings have expanded to include expert solutions in tree and shrub care (including removal, planting, and maintenance), landscape services (including planting, irrigation, and hardscapes), and concrete installation and repair. We also offer lawn service.
Southeastern Tree & Landscaping started in 1950 as Fort Mill's premier tree service company. Seventy years later, we're here to offer you the same quality, professional work we did for your grandpa. From tree removal to tree pruning to tree care, we can do it all. We are licensed, insured, bonded, and ready to tackle any job.

Bill's sons Todd and Will join the business, bringing the combined team experience past 100 years and expanding services to landscaping, hardscaping, and concrete.
Southeastern Tree now serves 15 communities across York County SC, Lancaster SC, Indian Land SC, and Charlotte NC with a full suite of outdoor services.
Bill assumed operations from founder LW Howle and remains active in the business today, carrying forward a legacy of excellence in tree care across the Carolinas.
Todd brings deep knowledge of southern plant life and environmental needs, leading field operations with the same professionalism and attention to detail the family is known for.
Will joined brother Todd and father Bill to round out a family team with over 100 combined years of experience serving York County and surrounding communities.
